Chasing a personal best on the road? The Nike Vaporfly 4 puts a ZoomX foam midsole and a full-length carbon fibre Flyplate under your foot, and an engineered mesh upper with asymmetrical lacing holds everything in place. A 6mm heel drop and very high cushioning keep you rolling forward.
Product Highlights
- ZoomX foam midsole returns energy and absorbs shock with every stride
- Curved carbon fibre Flyplate runs from heel to toe, adding leverage at toe-off for propulsive transitions
- Engineered mesh upper wraps your foot in a secure, sock-like fit and lets air flow through
- Asymmetrical lacing gives you a close, secure lockdown
- Waffle-pattern rubber outsole with forefoot cleats grips the road, with more forefoot rubber than the prior model
Best For
- Runners chasing a personal best at 5K and 10K
- Half-marathon race day on a light, responsive ride
- Tempo runs and race-pace intervals
- Runners with narrow-to-standard-width feet
- Between sizes? Doctors of Running recommend going half a size up
